Was wading a local stream trying to get a quick trout fix. This guy slobbed down my offering and never really gave me a clean look until the end of a 2-3 minute battle. I was REALLY hoping for an 18" browny! But this guy will do just fine to. Very fun battle on a 5 wt.

1: Do the mules carry the entire cooler with all the food and drinks?
2: Will the ice keep the food...

We headed up into the Sierra and got a little break from the heat as we climbed. Our destination was a little no name creek that runs through a Boy Scout camp located precisely in the center of nowhere. My friend,...

Ain't I the interesting one

Some of you may believe that it's the cast, others, the tug. Some like small wild fish others the behemoth tailwater planters. Tenkara, Spey, switch, buggy whip.

I was drinking tea and watching Homer Circle edit his TV show. Hemingway dropped by and he was drunk, like always...because he was pissed that Teddy Ballgame was up in Maine wasting time on those crappy Atlantics when we should all be in Cuba having a real good time.

Isaac Walton had adopted me when I was two...
