Wind River Mtns Fishing Trip

This past month (July 2012) I have been taking horse back riding lessons mainly to go riding with my girlfriend and hopefully get into some of the remote high country lakes north of town. The Wind River range is just loaded with remote lakes that I want to explore. I've heard it said that trout live in beautiful places, and it takes no more than a single glance above their fluid world--at snow-blanketed ranges and breeze-cleansed, wildflower-strewn mountain meadows and soaring ospreys--to know that it is true. We do our best to protect their homes...but why? Why do I care?

I'd become hooked on fly fishing long before, as a child, probably by reading some issue of Outdoor Life my Dad had subscribed to for my sake, but in those days the focus...

yesterday I had the pleasure of instructing two lady's and a guy all from Germany to Basic saltwater fly fishing,and casting lesson's.

beautiful day west wind.but I couldn't believe I only saw one bone fish on the flat.and I have fish this spot before,happy to say we caught a big Barracuda that give the gentleman a good fight with three jumps. the lady's enjoyed walking the flat, picking up sand dollars and taking a photo holding up two Star Fish.
