well, not yet. I have made the jump to nice gear. I got a 8wt 10ft Xa rod and AlphaII reel and 5/6 green trout reel from Allen in route for myself for xmas. Justin at Allen was great fun to chat with and helped me out.

The Baby Moose & More About Frozen Trucks;

Posted 12-15-2011 at 10:04 PM by Hardyreels

I hope you haven't already found this out on the forum if you came here to see what was new. On Wednesday December 14, 2011; I was about to make a run to the post office at about 1:00 PM and since it was really chilly I headed out to start the car and unplug it. We use block heaters here on both the car & truck so that when you have left one set for several days in sub zero weather they are not frozen up.

Anyway, I opened the front door and stepped out onto the porch and something...

Flyfish Tulum Mexico

Flyfishing from the Tulum Mexico area is simply fantastic and probably my favorite spot I have ever saltwater flyfished. With the fantastic backdrop of powdery white sand beaches, lined with Coconut Trees, and the other side Mangrove canals and lagoons, this offers some amazing habitat. I have lived and guided in this area for over a year and simply love it here! From Cancun it is only a 3 hour bus, or less in car, to reach some great spots. I will be guiding down here from February 2012 and onward...,...
