This will provide some more insight to life in Alaska I think. If you wanna live here you better be ready to do more than fish. As a matter of fact you have be able to handle about anything or........Option #2, you better have a lot of money and I do mean a lot. The problem I am about to disclose has been on the radar here since January 27 and today is March 16'th.

This is going to be an interesting day no doubt about it and I will take a few pictures and put them into this article...

Need help with trip to Rockies

Three fanatical English trout guys planning trip to Montana, Wyoming and Colorado for 6 weeks in July, August 2011. Really interested in wading small creeks, streams not so much in float fishing the bigger rivers. Can anyone please make any suggestions of one's we should definately not miss. Thanks a lot.

vintage shakespeare tru art reel and rod combo

hey everyone i had a question and was wandering if anyone could answer it for me . i recently aquired an old shakespeare tru art fly rod and reel combo. everything is printed clearly on the reel but can not find any markings on the rod at all. all i know for sure is that it is a seven foot glass rod that casts amazingly and its seven foot length is perfect for the small streams i fish can anyone help me out with info????

There are times when I go fishing where there is not another person there. Being alone in a place so vast isn't all that it's cracked up to be. There are things to consider, things like safety. It's not always a bear that you must be thinking of, if you were to take a fall while climbing through the Bush or scampering the rocks along a creek nobody knows where you are and that you're in trouble. I also spend a lot of time on rivers that see a lot of boats and fishermen and that's what this is about....
