Nerf Football

A Dream Stream brown. Not huge but a little football none the less. Kinda reminds my of my Uncle Vito, short and fat. (sorry V you know I'm just kidding right?) Got skunked my first two times up there, last time got a nice browny and my camera bats went dead. Today this little brown was all I netted. Had a couple nice ones on but they got early release. One took me into the backing and straightened the hook on my #18 red copper john. He kept trying to wrap me around some old bridge supports, when...

Let me be the first, to be the first.

What a great idea to have these blogs on the best fly fishing forum on the planet!
Mine will be, of course, primarily reporting on the conditions and issues of the South Platte River from the Dream Stream downstream to below the Deckers area.
I'll also make it a point to post some of my own adventures.
Hope you enjoy it and come back often.
