Today I decided to go to the Dourbie which is a wellknown river with emerald waters flowing in a wonderful landscape. The morning wasn't too bad with seven trout...but after midday there was a huge canoe hatchand as the fish are very supicious ...the river became a desertThe Dourbie trout are beautiful and have a very caracteristic "coat" but today I've caught a little alien,it's beautiful too but totally different from the others...I wonder who its parents are

Hi jbbfly,

That is a pretty place to fish. A lot easier to wade than that other spot you showed us.

Here are some photos of one of my favorite spots to fish in Arizona. It is right at the beginning of the Grand Canyon and has its own emerald water. You fish in this deep canyon and the sun doesn't get to the water until 10am according to the time of year. By 3:30pm you are back in the shade. You can see in the first picture that the sun has not got to the other side of the canyon.

Frank

Thanks to Lees Ferry Anglers for the pictures.

Great photos, guys! The rivers in Pennsylvania have been high/muddy for the
better part of this summer......

Beautiful pics FrankThe Dourbie is easier to wade...but you have to be careful with the canoes coming from everywhereand used by people who don't know how to paddleThey messed up my afternoon

Nice pics and very pretty river. So you don't have fish that'll make a dry "canoe" a wet?

JP and Frank: Very nice photos. JP sorry to hear about the canoe hatch ruining your fishing.
