Default VA DGIF stocked

Well I heard yesterday that the game trucks were loading up their trucks to go stock. This is 15 days early for them. Today I found where they had stocked and joined the hoards of others that were fishing the same spot. Most of the others there were bank fishing so I was watching them as I was putting on my waders. I noticed that a lot of fish were being caught in a short period of time and they were decent fish. I finished putting on my gear and headed up river from the bank fisherman. I caught quite a few fish and was quite surprised with the size of the fish that I was catching. Last year most of the stocked fish that I was catching were between 6-10". Today the avg. fish that I was catching was 12-13". I hope that VA DGIF continues to stock this size and larger.
