Default Georgia's Toccoa River DH

Hello all Flyfishers!

Well we can't wet a line.....dang! Very cold here in Georgia with alot of rain falling dang dang ...... we'll be tying alot of flies for spring and hoping for a touch of dry weather so we can hit the DH on the Toccoa. We hit it three weeks ago and landed 16 Bows with all of them being in the 14 inch range and the largest being 20 inches! Now we have a problem with poachers in the area now this upsets me to no end!!!!!! I'd like to shoot each one of them! We just don't have enough rangers to inforce the law! So I call the HOT LINE turn in poachers!!!! Some folks just can't read!!!! or don't care! Hope you all an't got these problems! Godbless! Super Tight Lines!

Lambster: I'm disappointed, I sent you our cold weather as a xmas present! Now I see you don't appreaciate my present!
Well at least you aren't in a drought any longer!
Here's to hoping that cold wx doesn't stick around too long for you, we sure were getting tired of it here in WY, sure feels nice to have that system move off to the east and it is finally warming up a little around here.
If you don't mind I will post a few of your fish from the Toccoa.
Poachers are a problem everywhere! We have the same problem out here, it is just discouraging to see that people don't care about the resource!

Alot of folks don't play by the rules and that makes me the maddest......... We can't even have a good DH without someone screwing it up for others! the state has cut back on stocking alot of other streams plus they wanted to close a hatchery where alot of the upper mountain streams wouldn't have gotten stocked if folks wouldn't have stucked together and called their congressman. Thats why I like Wyoming and Montana......... well I better get off of my soapbox....... thanks for the comment Larry! Godbless!
