Winter is Steelhead time for me...

My boxes have small stoneflys, PT's, GRHE's, caddis larvae in various colors, bead heads in various colors, and egg patterns in various colors and styles. On the egg flies a pale blue is one of my top producers.

Most of the flies are in the 10, 12, 14 size range; although there are some size 16's.

I think there's an article on them in the latest edition of Fly Tyer. I picked it up a couple days ago.

Yes they are in the latest edition of fly tyer. There is a batman pattern around that I have seen a few times and wanted to tie up but can't find it anymore. I actually found this website looking for the pattern a little while back.

I am getting all my stuff for the superhero patterns friday as I will be at feather-craft. I will try and post some pictures if I can get my camera to take them.

I ment to say Spiderman pattern in my last post not batman. Being sick for 5 days has taken its toll, I am slowly figuring out whats going on again lol

I also am going to try and get the superman, batman, robin and possibly the green arrow flies ready for my saturday trip.

I love it! Practical with a dash of bodacious. Bet the Superblue one works.

We do alot of winter fishing here in Georgia if the air temps maintain 45 or above...... I've just finished tying a dozen Mr.Coppers, Metal Blue Seducer and alot of De Silver streamers for the shad kill plus alot of Rubber leg Creepy Crawler stones for the fast riffle water...... tight lines!
