Read the Irish regulations. We have statutory rules on fish that can be kept. It is 10 per angler per season - one per day in spring with 3 max. to May 12.
We encourage catch & release but the Government decides the catch limits.

You could take a cue from many of the outfitters on the Miramichi. It is still legal to kill a few grilse there every year, but many of the outfitters are catch and release only; you can't kill a fish in their camp. Just because its legal doesn't make it right....or smart.
