If You don't get any first hand replies, you might want to check the Wolf Creek Anglers website for stream reports. They update these reports every week or so.

There are two fly shops in Pagosa, and the Peidra and San Juan rivers. Im not from there but love it there. Also heading north out of Pagosa will take you to Durango. Great fishing there also and there is Duranglers on the Main st.

Adding to the above reply, Williams Creek is another option that might be worth considering.

I read my post again and I should have been more descriptive. I was just curious if there were any locals on this board that have any heads up like I heard that there was a ton of run off early because the temps have been so warm up there. I have literally gone to Pagosa at least 3 times a year since I was 3 months old which was 30 some odd years now. Guess I just have to wait and talk to my fly shop when I get there. Thanks for your quick responses
