This is a savage river Md fish from this past thurs...about 20 deg out in wind and flurries. It ate a #20 griffiths gnat.

McFly, thats quite the face on that brookie, looks like it should be on a much larger fish! Beautiful colors too.

I wish. For comparison, that is a 7 inch grip. He was pretty big for the water he was in. I recall that he was tucked under a overhanging tree root in a little pool about 2 feet deep...in a stream that averaged about 7 feet wide!
