Default Great day fishing-first brown trout

Living in Indiana there are not too many streams that have trout, so I do not have very many oppertunites to fish them. I had heard about the Brookville tailwaters earlier this spring and decided to give it a try this past weekend. I caught my first Brown trout on a Blue Dun pattern 20 minutes after I arrived at the stream.
I caught several more on dry flies the rest of the day. I am definately hooked now! Will probably make a habit of fishing here now. Has anyone else had any luck on this stream?

First trout ever! Was lucky enough to catch a few more too. They may be from a stocked stream but they were trout none the less. Realized while I was there though that most of my flys are geared toward bass/bluegill so I am in the process of tying some smaller drys just for trout.

Congratulations on your first trout! You will be more hooked than those fish were! Glad you had a great day!
