Yep. You couldn't have done that one any better, Jackster, if you did do it with a bicycle pump! Great photo. That's a nice albie too (bonita in FL).

Cheers,
Jim

Well we were able to squeeze one week in before the season closed til May here in Manitoba. The lakes are just starting to open up now but we were fishing the tributaries and got into a few fish.

Here's a couple pics.

First fish of 2012...drum roll....a goldeye! Third cast of the year, not bad.

March Carp in Manitoba...pretty unreal!

24" Greenback Walleye...the walleye were feisty. Caught a few smaller in the 18-23" range also.

Caught a TON of sauger...10-30 per trip out, nothing over 16-inches though.

Even caught a few slimers!

Can you tell me what this fish is? It was caught in NW Wyoming on zebra midges and skwalla nymphs.

They fight like tanks, each of the 5 I caught took 7-15 minutes to release, long slow runs, then short bursts with every movement and shadow i would cast.

It's a sucker, I'm not sure which sub species but I would guess a white sucker. One of the Rocky Mountain guys will know for sure.
