Yeah, I did that on occasion to protect the identity of the spot. The pic is legit, I blurred the background... Kind of a hack job I know

Heres a fun "Shop Job" I did after a bunch of guys turned my thread into, "I know exactly where you caught that fish, I recognize the bank, tree, blahblahblah"

Here's one of My dad Mark Bachmann on the Deschutes during the Summer Steelhead PhD school with Simon and Dec. You can read about it here: Sept 23, 2013 Insider Newsletter

Thumbs up Re: Steelhead Pics

Mark is a 'Machine' when it comes to hooking fish. I've never seen (one exception) his equal. But 'Nate,' to my knowledge, doesn't fish the 'Big D.'

Quite a few to hand this season already, not so many photos. Here's a typical early season fish from this year, courtesy of my buddy Drew with the camera:

Hey A.J.

You got steel already. It's been slow at this end. A few salmon and some browns here and there (they drop back when the water drops)

Mike,
The Erie tribs are definitely seeing fish. The Ontario tribs have been a bit slower this year, though they do have some numbers of fish. Hopefully we can get out and fish this year, but my schedule is a lot worse than usual.

Ard,
Thanks!

Lake Michigan tribs on the Wisconsin side are just getting reports of chromers moving up. Most excellent fish!
