Here is an awesome chromer that Dave Hogan landed on the Dean River up in BC a few weeks ago. You can read about his adventure in this weeks "Insider Newsletter" from The Fly Fishing Shop here Dean River Adventure, Traction, Pick 'Yer Pocket, Lady GaGa

Not that big, but the colors on this fish were absolutely spectacular. The pink and white iridescence on this girl were remarkable.

Those are all beautiful fish, I'm particularly fond of the first one. The colors of those fresh from the sea fish are something I don't get to see up close and personal on the Great Lakes. The rest of them all look fairly similar to colorations I've seen before here.

Glad to have you aboard, thanks for your post. Looking forward to more contributions from you.

With so many different fish on the Salmon River, I find lots of anglers have a tuff time determining exactly what they have landed.
1. A bright fresh silvery Coho is often mistaken for a steelhead.
2. A Brown is often mistaken for a Atlantic or vise versa.
The easiest way to tell the difference is a Trout will always have a white mouth. (See pic.
A Salmon will always have a greyish or black mouth. (inside)
