Default Hit a little known/ little fished river today.

Well, seeing as I have been working and have not had the pick of any day to fish I was happy to hit the water today for some cast and blast action.

The ducks weren't there so I settled on a little river fishing action!

I was dead drifting meat and the fish were very supportive of my decision. The day was stunning, hotter than I imagined it would be and the fish were more active than I thought they would be. Both of those are good things.

I decided to forgo the main river and head up the little river that was dirty and commonly neglected by the other river fisherman. The temps have been cool to cold and so I was figuring the fish were not only there but potentially stacked and ready to hit a fly with aggression and limited reluctance.

Bam...I wasn't half way into my first hole and the fish were on like donkey kong! Keep in mind the main river is so full of anglers that you cant find a spot to be alone if you tried...on this channel I saw no one, zero, zip, nada, zilch...not a soul to be seen all day.

I could end it right now and say I didn't have my camera......but since everybody loves porn I am going to show ya a couple of my smaller fish. Tick a lock and I will show the bigguns!

Decent Brown..Cookie cutter. On the meat!

Decent Rainbow...I wish i could have known what was in her/them as the bows were so full of something they had guts like a fatman. I figure they were mackin on Brown Roe...but what do I know.

Glad I wasn't here today...

Very nice trip report, and I must confess I'm addicted to fish porn! Loved your photos! Congrats on the nice fish!

Based on the results, that's the kinda water you want to stay little known and little fished so you can keep it for your own! Looks like a nice day, even better when you get pictures from where you don't wanna be
