Default 3/5 small stream report (pics)

Headed out with the family last Saturday to fish for about an hour and do some hiking. Kara and I caught 5 total, while my son did the netting. I caught 2 browns, and she caught 1 brown, 1 rainbow, and 1 10" sucker fish. This is like the third time in a row she has out fished me... she gettin the hang of it, that is for sure. Here is a photo.

This morning, despite it being the coldest day in the past week and the blistering winds, I headed for a small stream. Surprisingly it was on fire in the morning and as it warmed up it began to slow down. Don't these fish read the trout tactics books?

Anyway, it was a beautiful day and did well. I caught around 15 - 20. Here are the photos of the first few fish I caught. I decided I would quit taking pictures unless I caught I nice big one. Unfortunately, that never happened (although one was about 11 inches and very healthy).

There sure are some pretty fish in these hills. Enjoy

Lovely!

I am afraid you will have to get used to it. The girls always out fish the guys. It is a genetic thing....

Nice,

My Father's words of wisdom "If you want to get shown up take a woman fishing or ask her to play poker".

Look like you had a good day

ironlion: Great trip report and some awesome looking fish, congrats!
I know the feeling, seems like everytime we float with Fysh and his wife Pam she always puts it to us on either the biggest fish or the most fish landed!

Or take her shooting... my fiancee has an innate talent for shotgunning, but she's no slouch in the fishing dept. Now I have to get her to start fly fishing...

Great selection of patterns on those fish, looks like a good day out!
