Not from SE, but from the Cities.

How's the action been down there? I've been fishing more on the WI side, because it closer to my home. Last Sunday, I went out for the day with my bud, and had a killer day. Elk-Hair Caddis was the only thing we used all day, and we must have caught about 30 fish between the two of us. It was a epic day for fishing.

There have been posts like this for Minnesota for a long time. One from myself. You will be lucky to get a second response from this thread. It seems we are sort of an oddity in Minnesota. Hate to burst your bubble.

Hah! Proved me wrong. I answered a phone call then hit submit.

I lived right on the Burnsville/Lakeville line when I was 14-15 years old, in between Twins world series championships. Loved Minnesota--still do.

I live in Winona. I tend to fish south of I-90 a lot. Branches of the Root, and other feeder streams. I'm not familiar with Canton though.

Oh no reason in particular. Just trying to see if anyone local is on here, that fishes the same waters i do. Ive fished the root by lanesboro, but not with the fly rod yet. Ive fished Duschee, and Gribben, and would like to get up into Diamond creek this summer.
