Default Buffalo area trout?

Hello everyone,

I am very new to fly fishing but really want to get into river trout fishing. Is anyone from the Buffalo, NY area and know of any good spots?

Thanks

You need to hook-up with gatortransplant! He's a grad student out that way, and a couple of weeks ago, while I was out there for work, he and I went to one of his "spots" on the Ellicott Creek in Williamsville, just outside of Buffal (near the airport), and hoked into some rainbows...

Unfortunately I am a Buffalonian who no longer resides there. Gatortransplant does ton's of fishing in the area so try to hook up with him.

LOL, there is nothing unfortunate about no longer residing in Buffalo, other than missing Anchor Bar wings and Bocce's pizza and Ted's hot dogs. I'm in the same boat.
