Default Finally, What a Day!

The day just felt fishy, light drizzle and no wind, just perfect. I snuck out of work early and headed north to one of the lake thoroughfares. It was slow to start but by noon things started happening.

After a few hours I got into some landlocks
my last one was a nice 24 incher, it was a great day.

Yo Tim,

Catching them on those feather wing streamers! Good for you, great pictures that tell me a lot about your fishing.

That picture looks like a spot I stood at 12-13 years ago while on a long road trip/vacation and landed my first landlocked.
Is that the Connecticut by any chance?
Nice fish and report. Thanks for that.

Tim: That looks like a fantastic day on the water, congrats!

I headed out for some fishing today, but when I got to the stream my dog was gone. Spent the whole afternoon looking for him and never did find him, but put the word out to several folks on the stream, to the Sheriff's office, the vets and the animal control folks so hopefully someone will find him and turn him in.

I thought that looked near to my area; I haven't had near that kind of luck yet though! Great photos.
