Default Wild trout

Two summers ago, I (the one in the grey sweatshirt) went out to Estes Park, Colorado to visit my cousin, Tyler, and his family and we flyfished the whole time. Thanks to him, I got my first taste of flyfishing for wild trout, and I am now addicted to it! What would the world be like if we didn't have a dedicated generation of teachers to open the world of the outdoors to everyone. Take a kid fishing!

I think it's the kids that keep us geezers fishing sometimes Nothing is better than watching a young person's face light up when they feel the tug. Keep posting for us.

Hi Carter,

I have no kids to take fishing but if you can find your way here I'll make a place for you in the season. The only trout we have are wild ones and you will never forget the rivers. If you check the link in my signature you'll see that I'm serious and I'm not trying to sell you a trip either.

Keep learning and handle those fish with care buddy,

Ard

Carter!

I just had a look at your profile and I'm telling you that I am impressed with the seriousness with which you are approaching your fishing. I also discovered that you repped me on a post I made to you. Wow, a new guy and a young fellow at that who fills out a profile and gives rep to posters This is unusual, really it is.

I made a point to return some rep to you and am very happy to see you as a part of our forum group. Others have taken notice of your becoming a member here also and they feel the same as I do.

Welcome to the forum,

Ard

I'm not quite the kid anymore (I'll be 22 on the 8th) but if it wasnt for the men who took me fishing as a kid I wouldn't be who I am today I'm sure of it, I've learned much more than fishing when I had a pole in my hand
