It is really fun to watch them get sipped under or gulped. You can hang a nymph or midge under them too.

Nice pics. I've yet to catch a brown here in MO, but I've mainly fished close to St. Louis. Thanks for posting. Gives me hope.

I've caught several in the Current (half a dozen this year--seems like the catch rate is dropping) and only two this year in Taneycomo out of hundreds of rainbows. They are here but not many close to the city.

Thats the biggest thing, you have to go pretty far south to start getting into the browns. One of these days I will hit up the white river and see whats about.

I've heard a drift boat is your best bet there. There are a lot of brownies down there though. My buddy has fished there with Jeremy Hunt and they caught some nice ones.

They are in the niangua. A friend of mine went the other weekend and said the browns were biting like crazy.

I can get access to a driftboat, not to woried about that. Its more the timing i need to get out there.

I always forget about the Niangua for whatever reason but yes they are in there too. I also want to go bother Brian Wise at Spring Ranch.
