Default New to Spring Fishing Near Denver

Thinking- No actually going to go to The South Platte- Deckers area on the weekend, I am an early riser and will be out at the crack of dawn, going shack whacky....

As I am new to the fishing scene could anyone pm me on early morning tatics or potential areas I may loo at stopping. The obvious is I have been out early before and it is very quiet....

Thanks for any help
