Default 1st dryfly trout of 2014....less than 1 hour from NYC

hit the Cross River Sunday....its a strange year when I have to drive south (instead of north to the Catskills) to feed my addiction.....finally got some surface activity

Nice pics. I don't think I've caught a trout on a dry but haven't tried real hard either.

Sweet!

Brookies will always be my favorite!!!

Our season starts this Sat. My home stream is running a little high and dark right now after a solid day of rain but I think everything will be good come Sat.

I'm 2 hrs. from NYC.

Tight lines,

Joe

Brookies may just be the best looking fish in my opinion
