Default surpise catch

im still in a kind of shock from this catch, just had to share it. went out to a mountain creek which is known for holding big fish. got out early and after several hours and throwing wolly buggers or nymphs without any hook ups, spooking several didnt help, decided to take a break. after said break, aka shore nap, i woke up to a single trout rising. there were no hatches, no visible bug activity, absolutely nothing to suggest what it was rishing to. knowing these fish were spooky i knew there was only one shot to get it right. quickly tied on dry, slowly moved into a decent casting postion, then let it fly (all while praying it didnt spook)... perfect cast ....fish didnt even see it coming

maybe taking a nap was as patient as you can be haha.... low profile, not moving around, not sure if snoring would have any effect
