Default Late Yellowstone trip report

I haven't been to the park in a few years, and I was happy to see how much has grown back since the fires that scorched it over the past few decades. I miss Wyoming! Started with a quick visit to the Jackson area:

Fired up, it was time to explore the park:

Catching them on hoppers is tough to beat in my opinion. And I know you're supposed to kill all non-natives, but I just couldn't. So I spent some more afternoons here, casting hoppers and catching Browns. It's a stretch of stream I have always wanted to fish, since I was a teenager back in the '80s, but never did. The world seems a bit smaller now.

I know what you mean! Work and life (usual sob story) has kept me away far too long. Already figuring out how I can get back sooner rather than later!

Joey

Not sure how I missed your YNP trip report, but glad you posted it again, loved seeing all the great photos, thanks for sharing. Everything here is covered in white and its cold, so seeing trip report photos is certainly refreshing.

Funny thing, I was just looking at photos from this trip earlier in the week. Making plans for 2017 and it's looking to be a good year for putting some trout on the end of my line.
