G'day all, first post on these forums and I'm liking what I see. I only took the fly up earlier this year, after being a spin-man for many years. My local waters could be classed as streams that whilst not big, hold some fun fish.

My first ever wild fly-caught Brown trout, taken on a Royal Humpy pattern.



And a few other follow-up fish taken early this trout season. They are still a little under-conditioned, but will fill up over the next few months.











I'm heading over to the South Island New Zealand early next year, hopefully I'll have some larger Browns to share after that!

That is a Beautiful fish Bob. I try not to look here because there are no brown trout here. As far as I know there are none in Alaska at all. I miss fishing for them a great deal.
