Default PA Trout stream

Wonderful day, wonderful fall colors, and even a 6pt buck!!
All fish released.
A woolybugger was what the trout wanted.
Trout, chubs, sunfish, all with a 4wt...... as good as it gets!

I've been having fun in Pa this fall. We checked out a few small streams for brookies in the spring recently. That should be a ball. Nice fish, BTW.

Honestly, a trip to Northwest PA spawned me to take up fishing again hardcore (I have been buying licenses just in case) especially on the fly. I admit that pursuing trout and salmon might be biting off more than I can chew but I love the pursuit. LOL....is that somewhere in "Steelhead Alley"? No specifics asked of course.

I'm thinking of buying both a NY and PA and trying a little place that's unknown called "The Catt". (I know it's hardly uknown)

Alex

No, actually it's south central PA. It's Muddy Creek special regs fly fishing only section.
All the streams in PA are trout magnets. The further north ya go, the better the fishing.
Also every feeder stream that feeds the Susquehanna has wonderful fly fishing for smallmouth and sunfish.
The steelheads are north in the Erie tribs. Wonderful fishing, I hope to spend some time there soon.

McFly,

Are you a vampire like I am?
You seem to post late at night, just like I do.

McFly,

I keep the exact hours that you do! well sometimes I stay up a little later! This is the best way to spend your life, believe me! I've tried them all, 6am early bird, 9 to 5 at a office, rotating shift work in a factory, outside sales in many states, and being self employed!!

This is why I like to fish in the afternoon or after dark ......... I'll never wake up at dawn again! LOL

How can you exist? Where is the money coming from? Do you work a 2nd shift job?

Keep up the good life, my cyberfriend, stay up late and drink a lot of wine and tie flies late at night and go fishing every day.

This is the best that life has to offer.
