The ice is finally going away, but today was a bit of a chilly one. Lots of ice on the line guides and my fingers protested a lot. Still caught a good bunch of the stocker trout from a local put and take lake (it's basically cheating, but good entertainment for a while).

Hoping for a warmer day soon so I can try for some bass.

My bad, wrong picture. Here is the river.

I do fish for trout a lot. But Carp is great. The majority are 27" plus.

Joni,

Neat camera holder! I'm about to purchase video sunglasses, looking for the best deal. I'm going to start taking videos of my fly fishing trips?

In your previous post, that trout is as big as you are? LOL When you have access to trout like that, why would you go after carp?

Had my first 35 plus fish day of this year. Tons of Snake River rainbows this size, getting staged to spawn and were super aggressive.

Larry that second one looks like he would probably take your finger off with that mouth and those teeth!! I have seen browns like that but never a Rainbow. Did you happen to check him for anabolic steroids!! Is he/she Russian by chance?
