Yep! Those two were caught on the Rogue River in Oregon. The others were from Henrys Lake

Here is a nice Cutthroat from Kelly's No Tellum' Spring Creek. This water is just loaded with fish like this, truly an amazing place to see and fish. There are some much larger fish there, I've hooked into three, but as soon as they are hooked they do an about face and bee line back toward the weed beds and are gone.

Greenback Cutthroat from Rocky Mountain National Park. Other than that beautiful dark green color of the their tops, greenbacks differ from other cutts in that their (large) spots are supposed to dissipate closer to the head. There is a lot of debate in this state about whether or not these are a true strain of greenbacks. There is supposedly some "infestation" of Colorado Cutt blood. I don't know the exact details, but from what I know, these fish are probably NOT 100% greenbacks. But I've caught hundreds of these guys in the park, and they are markedly different from Colorado River Cutthroats. Not only in color but also in behavior. I've run into spawning greenbacks aplenty. When they're in spawning mode, they want nothing to do with your fly. A number of times, I've hiked in 5-8 miles on a day hike just to run into spawning greenbacks. You can present fly upon fly right on their noses and they have zero reaction. I've sworn off greenbacks a couple of times after they left me hanging.

But when in regular feeding mode, greenbacks are VERY easy to catch. And if you think all small cutthroats are listless combatants, you've never hooked into a nice little, chunkified greenback. They put up a nice struggle compared to Yellowstone and Colorado Cutts.

I have caught those, actually some of the backgrounds in a couple of those pictures look fimilar. They are great little fish and the color on them is something else. They were the species I was most worried about catching for my CO grand slam, but the brookie ended up being the tricky one.
