Default I fished some Delayed Harvest water today

Well I had some time to fish today so I went to the DH waters. I caught a lot of Brookies and a couple of Rainbows. The last one I caught was this one.

The last one of the day 23 inch Rainbow. Not to bad for me.

Very nice fish, and a great way to end the day. It sounds like you had a blast.

What were you catching them on?

You wouldnt be speaking of the watauga river would you? I live just up the road from there. Lots of good fishing, unfortunately it gets poached out pretty quickly.

No I live in Spruce Pine and I have been fishing the river that runs through town. I caught another one today and was 22 inches and alot fatter.
Most of the fish I catch are on a fly that I tie using Mcfoam.

Thanks i'd love that! I've only lived up there for a year or so, so i'm still trying to learn my way around some of the different rivers.

I'll definately be in touch.

Sounds great to me, but your photo didn't come through on my computer.

PS Yes, pic is now displayed. Must have been the operator at this end. Nice fish. I hope to get on the Big Wood in the next week or so.

Only midges... I was just curious as to what that fly you were talking about with the "mcfoam" looked like. You have any pics?
