3/19 steelhead

hit the v up for a lil bit today. got to the river today around 2. the steel were really active until it got colder out around 4. hooked into 1 on my 3rd cast of the day. got another 15 min later. both came on a white sucker spawn with red thread I tied up and all came in the tailouts right in front of the riffles. seen another guy out there with one catch also. also seen some dead sucker fish around. seemed someone was killing um or sumthin. heres some pix of the day enjoy.

Looks like you are becoming a pretty proficient steelie fly fisherman. Congrats! Nice photos, I really like the third one.

I do also! I had my finger showing in the top corner but thats my luck. then i just edited it out to black instead, thats one of the most colorful steelies i've gotten to date! hes got a crazy reddish cheek and nice black dots on top!
