thanks guys. got mine on orange crystal meth spawn(shown in one of the fish close ups) and his came on the white "original" crystal meth sucker spawn( tied same as original sucker spawn but uses diamond braid instead of angora yarn for extra flash) and then my 1st one came on the original (sucker spawn) thats the angora yarn in white using red thread and a lil krystal flash.. stonefly nymphs work too. just indicator drift or high stick um through the holes using some split shot as weight. I think I had one on a oregon cheese glue egg also but he got off so i am not sure if it was the sucker spawn or the glue egg on that one cause I run a dropper and couldn't see what he took. these fish are stockers. they are the manistee strain of steelhead. they come into our river from the lake starting in the fall(easy to catch) and stay in the winter(harder to catch) and spawn in the spring(easy to catch) then go out to lake erie for the summer cause they can't survive the hot weather.
