bighorn brownies and 'bows'

Spent a few days last week driftboating the Bighorn. Had a great time; weather cooperated(80F+ on two days), and only windy on the third day(and down to 40F). Lots of nice brownies and rainbows, including some beauties of 20inches plus. Nothing really hatching, so it was mostly scuds,sow bugs and 'ray charles', fishing under an indicator, with a two fly dropper rig. Great fun though, and stayed at a great lodge(Eagle Nest). Can recommend the guide we had with the boat(Sam Boggio), if you're ever down there. Will post some pics.

Cool! I've wanted to fish the Bighorn for a while now. There are some great deals out there on lodges and guide trips. Glad you had a good time!

Th browns spots are phenomenal. I have always loved the variations in Brown Trout from river to river and fish to fish. They are all different.
