alaska trip

heres some pics from alaska in june. fished from montana creek, copper river, king salmon right in towwn of ancorage. fished the fishing hole in homer. the 47 lb king was on 8wt 12lb test tippet. fishing was great. my custom built fly reels from tx. worked very well. have sold a ton at the costcos in alaska and seattle. i am in seattle and portland till aug. 30th will post more pics. oh yea the halibut fishing was also great. we went for the freezer size fish. i was 3 ft from the eagle, he was cool and pretty close to the moose. only had 1 bear incounter. note never bring a whole cooked chicken deep in the woods while following a creek. lol
