I am at the point where I have to replace my custom Oakley Monster dog with Vr28 polarizing lens with something else. The Oakley are still very HD for driving but starting to lose they performance sight fishing in a cloudy day or looking into shaded water.
Prior to buying the Oakley years ago, I had Costa Del Mar 580P Amber lenses in mind but opted to chose Oakley Vr28 Brown lenses instead.

Does anyone have any recommendations on the brands and lens color for sunny, bright and cloudy days?
thanks

Need some hot weather waders for the full figured fly fisherman. I like my Cabelas big man waders for duck hunting but Missouri summers are killing me. Looking for suggestions, something easy to walk in and comfortable.

Will have the boot discussion in a separate thread, that seems a little...

Leader/tippet importance

I am getting kinda confused with how/why other anglers choose different size leader/tippet set ups for different styles of fishing. For the longest time I just used 4X fish everything. What is the importance of different diameter line (#X) for different types of fishing ?
