Re: Catch And Release
It sounds like you've thought a lot about catch and release. It's always a good thing for there to be more c&r anglers in the world. It means you're doing a favor to all us other fishermen, whether we're fishing c&r or otherwise, so there are more fish in the rivers for everybody else to catch
. Could you do us another favor, though? and make use of paragraph breaks next time? Huge walls of unbroken text are very difficult to read.

Re: Catch And Release
Wow, Mikeo, very existential.
![]() But, did you catch any fish? Just kidding. Sounds like you've had a major epiphany in your life. Congratulations. Re: Catch And Release
Mikeo,
That was some of the best writing I have seen in a long time. I live in the city and time spent out in nature around mountains, rivers and streams seems to not only relax me but refreshes my spirit, soul and body. Lol there are times I wish I didn't have to come back to what we refer to as civilization. Many things in life have comparisons and you hit the nail on the head with yours. May you always find your space when you fly fish. Curtis

Re: Catch And Release
I like this quote of Ernest Schwiebert's -- and I have shared that "guilt".

Re: Catch And Release
Great read, Mike. Thanks for sharing. Here's a quote I like: "My father was very sure about certain matters pertaining to the universe. To him, all good things--trout as well as eternal salvation--come by grace and grace comes by art and art does not come easy."

Appreciate all the kind words -- I'll post new "stories" as able
