Do you use Austrailian Possum ?
Good Day to All,
Just wondering if anyone else uses Austrialian Possum to tie up any of your flies ? I have used it on jointed nymphs, large sculpin streamers, etc. A packet (which usually has a patch about 3"x4") lasted for quite sometime, but I'm having trouble finding those packets. My "go to" fly shop has not been able to get the smaller packets, they can only get the full pelts, which are $30+. I know that a full pelt would almost last forever, but convincing my wife that I need to drop $30+ won't fly. Do any of you know were the packets can be purchased ? ( I really do not want the hair off the skin, I like to cut off what I need & use the "underfur" remainder for dubbing. ) Thanks, Tie One On
