Elkhorn Fly Rods - New Corporate Member
Elkhorn Fly Rods & Reels - New Corporate MemberNAFFF would like to welcome Elkhorn Fly Rods and Reels as our newest Corporate Member. Next month, Elkhorn will present a new Elkhorn Big Game Fly Rod for the May Gear Giveaway Sweepstakes. Don't forget to check back for that. It is all about presentation! That's why Elkhorn builds rods for down-to-earth fly fishers who value fine, honest performance and value above fancy labels and trendy advertising. Elkhorn rods are the choice of experienced pros who've spent years mastering perfect presentation . . .and serious beginners who are just getting the knack. No matter what your level of skill, Elkhorns are reliable, no-nonsense fishin' partners that you can buy with confidence, cast with pleasure, and enjoy for a lifetime. Just because a fly rod is durable and affordable doesn't mean it can't be beautiful. From its fine Portuguese cork grip to its quality reel seat and guides, your Elkhorn has been hand-built by expert craftspeople into a topnotch aesthetically-pleasing work of art. It's a rod you'll be proud to own. Lasting durability. . . Elkhorn uses a few grams more graphite for better strength. You probably won't notice it when you're casting the rod. But in the sometimes rough-and-tumble world of fishing trips, float boats and car windows, you'll be glad your rod is a ruggedly-built Elkhorn. To visit their website >click here |

Re: Elkhorn Fly Rods - New Corporate Member
My brother bought an Elkhorn and loved it till he broke the tip off (frozen guides)
Make a great line of rods for the money consious fly fisherman. Checked out their bamboo at the Expo, if they could lighten that thing up it would be a heck of a deal. |

Re: Elkhorn Fly Rods - New Corporate Member
I personally own an Elkhorn Traveler 2wt 4pc. Its one of my favorite and most used fly rods ever. Elkhorn makes wonderful small stream rods.
I also own a 5wt 7pc. Its a great pack rod... it'll fit just about anywhere. Elkhorn fly rods are an exceptional value. They offer great rods at a very good price. Plus... they come with a lifetime warranty. Oh yea... have seen their new fly reels? Very, very nice!!! Check'em out at www.elkhornflyrods.com or give'em a call... ask for Brian... tell him the forum sent you. |
