Katrina Benefit: Fly Fishing Trip Auction

Fly fishing guides Doc Thompson and Rob Woodruff are teaming up for a benefit trip auction to aid with the relief efforts for Hurricane Katrina. 100% of the money raised from the sale of the two trips will be donated to American Red Cross’ efforts on the Gulf Coast.

Bidding begins on September 13 and closes on September 20. Winning bidders will be notified via Email.

Trips are:

1) Northern New Mexico Trout
One day guide trip for 2 people with Doc Thompson on the Cimarron River. Trip includes flies and lunch for the day. Does not include equipment, fishing license, transportation or any private water rod fees. Trip is valid for the 2006 fishing season (mid May-mid Sept). Trip value is $300.00; opening bid is $200.00

2) East Texas Bass
Full day guided fly fishing trip for two on Lake Fork with Rob Woodruff. Trip includes equipment, flies, lunch, soft drinks and snacks. Package does not include lodging or licenses. Trip must be taken in 2006. Retail value $285.00; opening bid $200.00.
