hi everyone.
im a newbie here. my name is josh. last summer my professor taught me how to fly fish on california's beautiful hot creek near mammoth, ca. i ended up catch one 4" brown trout and one 4" rainbow trout. not bad for my first time. tonight i emptied my grandmas garage to find a shakespeare 1890 reel and an eagle claw wright and mcgill rod. this summer ill be working in crater lake national park, oregon and i'd like to get some fly fishing in up there. will the gear ive found serve my purposes? also, can anyone recommend any place near Crater Lake (i guess i should repost this in the regional forum too). TIA jdb |
