Re: Nymph Fishing Book
Books by Larry Tullis, Daves Hughes and Gary Borger are good.
I especially like Nymp Fishing for Larger Trout, a classic by Charles Brooks, though he was writing before indicators were used. He describes many ways to fish different situations, and he has a wealth of info on water hydraulics. I also like Active Nymphing by Rich Osthoff. He thinks outside the box, but doesn't write about fishing tandem rigs (which I don't fish). His book is filled with practical info, like how to put on and take off split shots. Randy Kadish |

Re: Nymph Fishing Book
I recently purchased 2 from Amazon
Active Nymphing by "Rich Osthoff" lots of fly fishing geeky detail and Fishing Tandem Flies "Charles Meck" nice book Both are advanced tactics and I got a lot out of them. I use them now as reference when I get back home to see if I could have changed a few things on the river. |
