Sounds like you got a handle on it. The bad thing is, is that the Spring/pawl and the disc were both being made at the same time, but Cliff is right about the first being the Spring/Pawl. Just real hard to tell which were made by Hardy and which by BFR.And yes, they were less expensive than the disc, but again....if you got one of those Hardy's...WAHOO!

I long think whether reel that buy.I think that dont miss.I hawe very much House o. H. reels but none Orvis.
I dont like new series reels who price very quickli fall and afterwards year nobody refer.The best is verified. ( I think) Best regards from Fly fishing federation Mlava.Serbia |
