Winter Pond Fishing

Well I finally caught a warm sunny day with very little wind and hit a couple of local ponds here in S.E. Oklahoma. Found the fish easy to take in the middle of the day with the Sun up high and the moon down..Caught a good dozen bass that felt good on my 8 wt using a clouser..It will make all next week go better. Hope the pic works.

Re: Winter Pond Fishing

Fish were all down about 4-5 feet and would not take anything in the close to the surface.. Some had eggs as I cleaned a few for the pond owner. Keeps me in good with her..
