Thumbs up Re: Beginner Trip Advice for Montana

Biggie, I didn't ask the question you so well answered, but your advice is priceless for anyone thinking of fishing Montana late spring-early summer, as I am. Good example of the great resource this Forum is, because I don't know anywhere else where this sort of really valuable information can be obtained.

Re: Beginner Trip Advice for Montana

Although I am only 15 and may not seem experienced enough to answer your questions, I can surely recommend "The River's Edge" in Bozeman, Montana. This place will be perfect for your father. My first timer sister and mother both were able to catch multiple beautiful trout. The guides could not be any nicer and they even provide a lunch and casting lessons on land. The guides tie flies on for you and tell you exactly everything to do.
