Fly Fishing in Southern Chile
Hey guy's, I'm new to the forums, so this will be my first post.
I recently got back from a trip to Chile. I go every year to visit my family, and spend the Holidays with them. Ever since I got into fly Fishing (4 years ago), I have spent some time fishing the rivers South of Puerto Montt, Chile. This year I went with some friends of my cousins who showed me some remote lakes in the mountains. I also had the pleasure of fishing the Puelo river with a family friend who also guides on the river. Here are some of the pictures. Tight Lines! Max Meneveau |

Re: Fly Fishing in Southern Chile
momeneveau,
I got a chance to see Trout Bum Diaries 1 DVD with a friend recently. Argentina and Chile have amazing trout waters. Looks like you can consider yourself a Trout Bum. I can only dream. Flychick if you ever need a traveling companion please let me know. Thanks, Terry

Re: Fly Fishing in Southern Chile
Thanks for all of the kind remarks!
Before I began Fly-Fishing (I'm self-taught and only began 4 years ago) I had no idea how amazing the fishing in Chile was. I would always visit my family, and on the plane to Santiago I always wondered why so many people brought rods on the airplane!! I am now one of those people!! How ironic... thanks Max |
