Best fish in a while

Though not the biggest Carp I have caught it was very satisfying. The creek I was fishing is only 30 ft. wide and quite shallow right now. Saw this fish working the shallows and spooked him once. Waited for about half an hour before he started feeding again and my next cast was right on the money. Had a blast fighting him.

Yep it was a six weight. The fly that I used is a pattern I call Rebecca's Damsel. Great all around nymph pattern. Tied it in dark brown.
