Kerr Lake

well spring fever got the best of me so me and my better half drove 6 hrs south to kerr lake (Va/Nc border) We had 2 days of awesome crappie fishing, caught all fish in sunny still water coves had anywhere between 45 and 48 degree water. all fish were caught on jiggys and clousers on structure in 6 to 10 feet of water on a 5wt. also hooked a 25 inch striper that kicked my butt on a 5 wt. was really great to get out for the first time since early December.
All fish were released and if i doesn't warm up soon near me i will be going back. The wife caught 1 that was over 2 lbs so she is ready to go back too
