caught a couple more today. not nearly as active as the other day. only got 4. ya these gills live in the river. not in the riffles tho these ones live where its deeper along the rocks. my cousin also caught 2 more on a hopper.
seemed they all just took it fast no coming up and slurping today! i also caught one like 8 inches from shore as i was stripping it in lol. must of been right along the rocks waiting. also seen a carp or sheephead float up right in front of us and die. looked normal until we flipped him over and half his face was gone!!!! kinda like some scary movie and crap haha. well maybe better luck next time. better than no fish tho..
